An affiliate link is an ordinary link to a retailer with a tracking code attached. The retailer uses that code to tell that a visitor arrived from our site. If you buy something after arriving through that link, the retailer pays us a percentage of the sale.

How We Make Money

We earn money in one way:

We do not sell advertising space. We do not publish sponsored posts. We do not charge manufacturers or retailers for coverage, placement, or ranking.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not accept payment in exchange for a positive review, a ranking, or a place in a list.
• We do not let a commission rate decide what we recommend. A product with no affiliate program can appear in a guide; a product that pays well will not appear for that reason alone.
• We do not manufacture, warehouse, or sell the products we write about.
• We do not change our editorial conclusions at the request of a brand or retailer.

How We Research Products

Our guides are built from manufacturer specifications, published product data, retailer listings, and feedback from owners in the wider community. Where we have handled a product ourselves, we say so in the article. Where we have not, we do not claim that we have.

Pricing

We do not display live retailer prices unless a retailer supplies them through an authorized feed. Prices change constantly — always confirm the current price at the retailer before buying.
