S-RGB ($230–$246) — Most affordable. Baselit LED in the hilt, hollow blade, toughest of the three for sparring. But the crystal doesn’t sync to the blade — it glows a fixed color. Get this if you want the crystal chamber look at the lowest price. Or if you plan to duel with it.

SNV4 Pro ($298–$321) — The one we recommend. Neopixel blade with scrolling ignition. Crystal syncs to the blade in real time across 12 colors. Bluetooth app control — change your blade color and effects from your phone and watch the crystal follow. 27+ sound fonts. No programming required. This is what the Kyber Heart was designed to do.

Proffie V2.2 ($400) — Same Neopixel blade and crystal sync as SNV4 Pro. The difference? The soundboard. Open-source ProffieOS. Unlimited custom blade styles. Community font libraries. But you’ll need a computer and the willingness to edit config files. Get this if you want to program your own crystal behavior. Skip it if you don’t.

Skip the Kyber Heart if:

The SNV4 Pro and Proffie versions handle choreographed dueling and casual sparring fine, but the crystal chamber means more internal components. For heavy full-contact fighting, this isn’t the right saber.

Q3: What’s the difference between the Kyber Heart and a standard saber without a crystal chamber?

A: The transparent window in the hilt exposes the kyber crystal inside. When ignited, you see two light sources — the blade and the crystal. On Neopixel versions, they sync colors. A standard sealed hilt only shows light through the blade. The electronics, sound, and blade performance are the same quality — you’re not sacrificing anything for the crystal, you’re adding a visual feature.

Q4: Do I need Proffie to get the crystal color sync?

A: No. Both SNV4 Pro and Proffie sync the crystal to the blade. SNV4 Pro does it automatically — change blade color via button presses or the ForcePark app, and the crystal follows. Proffie does the same thing but also lets you program custom crystal behavior if you want. If crystal sync is all you want, SNV4 Pro is enough.

A: The crystal is housed behind a transparent window in the aluminum hilt body — it’s protected, not exposed to the outside. Normal handling, spinning, and light sparring are fine. What you want to avoid is hard edge-to-edge contact that sends shock through the entire hilt. For display, cosplay, and casual use, durability isn’t a concern.

Q7: Which blade length should I get — 32″ or 36″?

A: 32″ for most people — lighter, faster, better for indoor use and spinning. 36″ for taller users and screen-accurate display proportions. Both are the same price on S-RGB (36″ adds $15 on SNV4 Pro). If you’re displaying it, 36″ looks more proportional. If you’re handling it regularly, 32″ is more comfortable.
